ORGANIZATION - Many have made resolutions in the new year to get organized- but there's no need to let organization come at a great cost. KDFW Consumer Reporter Steve Noviello engaged us in an interactive show and tell to illustrate how common household items you already have can be transformed into storage and organization solutions for free! Low or no cost organization and storage solutions are hiding in your house! He showed us how to use a tension rod under your kitchen sink to hang bottles of cleaners, to use old spice racks to store ties, to use old shoe pouches to store after school snacks, to use an old paper towel holder to keep bracelets or gift wrapping ribbon, and more.
GARDENING - Audrey Ann Wilson, Director of our Education at Aldridge Gardens, and Debbie Bartoletti, Director of Marketing, join us with a look at what's going on these days. They discuss an upcoming class you can take part in - "Gardening 101 for Busy People: Spring Landscape Seminar!" It will be held all day on Saturday, February 28th, 8:30am-3:30pm and will feature instructor David Henderson and horticulture instructor Rip Weaver (who is also the Executive Director of Aldridge Gardens). They also discuss the "Hummingbirds Galore!" class on Saturday, February 16th from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. with instructor Martha and Bob Sargent.
