MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The Cancer Wellness Center of Central Alabama Press Conference announced Thursday that Eli Manning, two-time Super Bowl MVP, will be the featured speaker for An Evening With Eli Manning, presented by Baptist Health. 

The event will be Friday, March 15, 2013 at the Renaissance Montgomery Convention Center (201 Tallapoosa Street, downtown Montgomery, Alabama). 

The VIP reception will occur at 6 pm, followed by a dinner at 7 pm. WSFA 12 News Sports Anchor Jeff Shearer and WAKA Sports Anchor Dee Jackson will lead the "chat" with Mr. Manning during a Q&A session. In addition, there will be a live auction during the event. 

Tickets for An Evening With Eli Manning, presented by Baptist Health, benefiting the Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama will go on sale January 18, 2013 at 10 am. General admission tickets are $100 for dinner, auction and program. Tables of eight are $1200. There will be a limited number of VIP tickets available for $400 which will include a meet and greet with Mr. Manning. 

Tickets can be purchased at www.cancerwellnessfoundation.org. This event will be a sell-out and seating will be limited. It is encouraged that anyone wanting to attend "An Evening With Eli Manning" purchase early.

Since its incorporation in 1997, the Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama has provided hope as well as support and educational services to address the needs of cancer patients and their families in a 33-county area of central Alabama. Specifically, in the past two years, the Foundation connected over 2,000 cancer patients with almost $10 million in services including transportation, medications, and nutritional supplements.
