The Alabama men's basketball team lost a 53-50 decision to the Tulane Green Wave Sunday in Coleman Coliseum. Guard Trevor Lacey and forward Nick Jacobs led the Tide with 12 points apiece.
"I felt our guys, from an effort and focus standpoint, understood what we needed to do," UA head coach Anthony Grant said. "We had a real difficult time sustaining any success offensively in both halves. It really caught up with us in the second half when we had the opportunity to build on our lead or extend our lead. We let some possessions get away from us."
Lacey led the team in rebounding with six. Alabama falls to 7-5 on the season and the Green Wave improves to 11-3 overall. Tulane's Josh Davis led all scorers with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
