A Shelby County teenager is missing, and the sheriff's office is asking for the public's help in locating her.

Yolanda Guadalupe Martinez, 16, reportedly ran away from home on Quincy Lane in Montevallo on Friday, Nov. 9. Investigators say they don't suspect foul play in the case, but believe she may be with a man named Miguel. He is around 18 or 19 years old and believed to be a former Thompson High School student, according to the sheriff's office.

Officials say Martinez last spoke to her mother on Sunday, Nov. 18 and hasn't been heard from since. Martinez is 5'5" tall, weighs 140 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Investigators ask anyone with information about her location to call the sheriff's office at 205-669-4181, through the Secret Witness line at 205-669-9116 or by going to www.ShelbySO.com.
