If you get a phone call or flyer that says your polling place has changed, the election has been delayed or any claim just sounds strange, don't panic, just contact Alabama Secretary of State Beth Chapman's office.

She has appointed and trained members of her legal and elections staff to speak with those who have questions or concerns about potential voter fraud.

Chapman has established a voter fraud unit dedicated to dealing with reports of voter fraud. She released this statement about the issue.

"It is important for the citizens of alabama who have reports of voter fraud to know that someone is here to listen and to gather the information in a manner which complies with the law. It is also important for these individuals to know that appropriate action is being taken with their complaint."

Chapman says all reports will be kept confidential.

If you think you may be a victim or have knowledge of voter fraud you can take action:

You can file a complaint online at www.stopvoterfraudnow.com

You can email your concerns to voterfraud@sos.alabama.gov

You can call toll-free to 1-800-274-vote (8683)

You can fax your report to (334) 242-4993

Or even mail a letter to: the Secretary of State Beth Chapman, Voter Fraud Unit, P.O. Box 5616, Montgomery Alabama, 36103-5616.

These complaints will also be forwarded to the State Attorney General's Office for review.
