The following are coments to an editorial from FOX6 WBRC-TV General Manager Lou Kirchen, first aired on Thursday, October 25, 2012:

How do you know people don't have religion? I go to church all the time, I'm Baptist but I don't write that down on anything. But, I don't ever discuss my religion because everybody's always disagreeing about God and about religion. But you can't say people don't have it.
Thomas Pleasant Grove
Religion today, churches today have gone to more interested in money, more interested in what they can get in money and involved politics and not for the purpose in which they're designed, that's to be a religious operation. That's reason you don't have as many people involved in religion today as we once did.
I'm one of those people who say they don't have any religion. That does not mean that I'm not Christian and I don't believe in God. It just means that I am neither Methodist nor Baptist nor any other organized religion.
I am nonreligious. I do not believe in the God. I've just simply, I don't know how to answer this right forward but I just cannot believe that. I just look at reality the way it is and day to day. I'm not afraid to face death. I do not have to have a religion to believe in the hereafter, I do not have that fear.
