- The 21st Annual Susan G. Komen North Central Alabama Race for the Cure will be tomorrow. All funds from the Komen Race for the Cure go to research, education, screening and treatment programs. KENTUCK - The 41st Annual Kentuck Festival of the Arts is this Saturday and Sunday at Kentuck Park (3501 5th Street, Northport, AL). It features nationally and internationally acclaimed folk artists including 270+ folk, visionary, and contemporary artists and expert craftspeople presenting their work to you. There will be free hands-on art-making for children in Kentuck for Kids and throughout the park. There will also be interactive live demonstrations by expert craftspeople-basketmakers, blacksmiths, woodworkers, traditional potters, fiber and fabric artists, quilters, jewelers, and a glassblower. The festival includes live music and story-telling, food and fellowship. Kentuck has been named one of the USA's Top Ten Art Fairs and Festivals. Tickets are $10 per day. JEH JEH LIVE - It's Football Friday and that means High School Football teams across the state go head to head on the field tonight! Catch all the excitement tonight on FOX6 Sideline! Jeh Jeh geared up for it with a pep rally this morning at Hueytown High School where the school gets fired up about tonight's game against Bessemer City High School. ATROX - Atrox Factory is up and running this season. It is closed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays until the week of Halloween. Most nights the Factory Tour is $18 and on weekends when special guests are on hand there is also a $5 fee at the gate. Atrox does not charge for parking. They except cash only. Arrive early and expect long lines - especially on the weekends. It runs from 6:30-10:30pm on Thursday and Sunday nights and 6:30pm-midnight on Friday and Saturday. MAGIC CITY CLASSIC - The State Farm Magic City Classic is next Saturday. Events kick off with pep rallies and parties earlier in the week. The parade begins at 8am on Saturday morning and kick-off is at 2:30pm at Legion Field. Tickets are $25 for reserved seats and $20 for general admission. This year's Ambassador is Bootsy Collins.
