Mrs. Hazel gave us this recipe for her peanut butter balls during a live shot at the Weather Radio Wednesday event in Gardendale on Oct. 10 and she was also kind enough to show us how to make them in our studio kitchen Oct. 18.
Mrs. Hazel's Peanut Butter Balls
1 small jar of crunchy peanut butter
1 ½ cup crushed graham crackers
1 ½ cup powdered sugar
2 cups rice crispy cereal
Mix well with hands and form into balls
Melt 6 blocks of white almond bark in the microwave for three minutes. Stir until smooth. Dip balls in melted almond bark and place on wax paper to set up.
