Nick Saban doesn't appear to be taking it easy, despite the bye week that the Crimson Tide is facing.
In a news conference on Tuesday, Saban stated that he felt there were many things that his team needed to work on in preparation for upcoming games.
"There's been plenty of times that we've shown when we do things with the right energy level, we do it pretty well. That hasn't been as consistent as we would like it to be," said Saban.
Coach Saban noted tackling, passing and running inconsistencies and red zone efficiency as areas he will focus on with the team.
The coach noted that there may be some new faces showing up in games, due to the injuries sustained to major players in the Ole Miss game.
"We have some opportunities this week with some injured players that make room for other guys," said Saban.
