ELDER ABUSE - Rep. Paul DeMarco joined us to discuss an Elder Abuse and Fraud Prevention Town Hall meeting in Hoover today. Seniors and caregivers in Hoover will be able to take part in an Elder Abuse and Fraud Prevention Town Hall today from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the Hoover Senior Center.  Attendees will hear panel members discuss elder abuse and fraud prevention and what the state is doing to combat it.  Brief presentations will be heard from the Dept. of Senior Services, the Attorney General's Office, DHR's Adult Protective Services and the Securities Commission.  Following the presentations the panel will be taking questions and comments from the audience.  The town halls are being presented by the Alabama Elder Justice Alliance and hosted by Alabama State Representative Paul DeMarco.  

KYLE BUSCH - Janice and Mike talked with Nascar Driver Kyle Busch. Busch is an American NASCAR driver and team owner. He currently drives the No. 18 Mars, Inc./Interstate Batteries Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Sprint Cup Series and owns Kyle Busch Motorsports, which runs the #54 Monster Energy Toyota Camry for Kyle and his brother Kurt in the Nationwide Series and the #18 Dollar General Toyota Tundra for Jason Leffler in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He's in town to prepare for this weekend's race and for the race at Talladega in October.

COMEDIAN -  The Comedy Club Stardome brings us Master Hypnotist Gary Conrad to town this week. Entrancing audiences wherever he goes,  Conrad next plans to cast a hypnotic spell over Hoover.
