SELMA, AL (WBRC) - The man who has been subject of a statewide manhunt in connection with the murder of nine-year-old twins, along with their 73-year-old caretaker, is now in police custody.
Twenty-two-year old Deandra Lee was arrested in Selma this morning after someone tipped the tip line set up by the Alabama Bureau of Investigation.
Lee is being questioned about the slayings of twins Jordan Dejerinett and his sister Taylor. Their sometime babysitter and retired anesthesiologist, Jack Girdner, was also shot and killed.
All three were shot and killed and their bodies were found in rural Lowndes County on Tuesday.
The search for Lee was concentrated in Dallas County, where he was acquitted last year in a double murder case.
