Sheriff: One killed, one injured in Bibb County accident

BIBB COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

Bibb County Sheriff Keith Hannah says one person is dead in an accident on Tuesday morning. It happened at approximately 7 a.m. on Highway 83 near County Road 20.

Hannah says the multiple vehicle wreck involves at least three 18-wheelers and two of those trucks hit each other head on.

Authorities have  confirmed that one person was killed and one other person was injured.

State troopers continue to investigate so stay with this story for more information as it develops.
