Daytona 500 pushed back to 6:00 p.m.

The Daytona 500 has been hit with another delay after rain refuses to clear the area.

Currently, the plans are for the race to begin at 6:00 p.m. Central Time. The original plan to race was for Sunday, but the rain caused it to be pushed to Monday at 11:00 a.m. Since the rain persists, officials hope things will be dry by Monday night.

You can see the Daytona 500 when it airs on WBRC FOX6.
