Duggar family, Storm Chasers rebuild home in Pleasant Grove

PLEASANT GROVE, AL (WBRC) - On April 27, members of Discovery Channel's Storm Chasers film crew were living up to their show's name as they tracked the deadly tornadoes that ripped through Alabama, capturing the massive twisters and their devastating effects on film. Today, many of those same Storm Chasers are in Pleasant Grove with 100 other Discovery Channel employees, helping rebuild a home that was destroyed in the storm.

The Duggar family from TLC's "19 Kids and Counting" show is also joining in the rebuilding efforts at the site in Pleasant Grove today. Discovery Communications partnered with the Greater Birmingham Habitat for Humanity to help out in the effort to build a new home in the tornado-damaged community of Pleasant Grove.

Gov. Robert Bentley visited the site today at 10 a.m. and took the opportunity to meet the Discovery Channel stars and take a few photos.
