Fayette, Ala. experiences 2.1 magnitude earthquake

A 2.1 magnitude earthquake occurred about two miles northwest of Fayette, Ala. at around 7:18 a.m. Wednesday morning.
There were no reports of any injuries or damage caused by the quake, according to Scott Porter, the Fayette County EMA director. Several people in the surrounding area felt the earthquake, which came a little more than a week after a 5.8 earthquake hit the eastern U.S. coast.
