Two charged with capital murder in Gadsden

Gadsden police have filed capital murder charges against two men accused of a home invasion robbery in Gadsden Nov. 24. Roger Jordan and Robert Trotman each face one count of capital murder and three counts of first degree robbery in the incident that occurred in an apartment on Chestnut Street.

Police say Christopher Johnson and another man walked into the apartment as Jordan and Trotman were robbing two other people and ransacking the home. According to the police, Johnson and the other individual were both ordered to lie down on the floor and then Johnson  was shot in the head.
