A report on DSLreports.com says that an AT&T spokesperson has responded to their questions over the accuracy of the company's usage meters.
DSLreports.com asked spokesperson Seth Bloom about the meters inaccuracy when compared to the use of firewalls and router logs. Bloom responded that AT&T crews are working to ensure accuracy and that AT&T would be happy to go through the tool one-on-one with customers to address questions.
The worries over accuracy come as AT&T plans to place broadband caps on their DSL services. The announcement comes with much public outcry from heavy internet users. AT&T says the caps will be in place to stop users from hogging usage and allow for other users to have an equal experience.
