Parker High School students star in anti-bullying film

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Students at Parker High School in Birmingham starred in a film titled "Tired of Dying," a movie that sends a serious message about the consequences of bullying and domestic violence. Monday, juniors and seniors at the school had the chance to watch the 23-minute-long film, written and directed by Houston filmmaker Erika Freeman.

The movie's trailer (which can be seen here on YouTube) cites the statistic that nearly 15 young people are killed every day, mostly by gunfire. Freeman says the film addresses the issue of not only harming one another physically, but also killing each other's dreams and aspirations.
