Andalusia teacher arrested on sex related charges

ANDALUSIA, AL. (WBRC) - A special needs teacher from Andalusia, Ala. has been arrested on multiple sex related charges.

Amy Kathleen Caudle, 31, was charged with two counts of rape and three counts of sodomy. She is being held in the Covington County Jail under a combined bond of $1,000,000.

Caudle is a teacher at Andalusia Middle School, a town about 70 miles west of Dothan. Three students have been identified as victims of the alleged incidents. Andalusia authorities say efforts are being made to verify any and all victims.

The Andalusia Police Department began their investigation of Caudle several days ago with help from the Department of Human Resources and the Covington County District Attorney's Office.

The investigation was made possible through the cooperation of the Andalusia School Superintendant's Office and the middle school administration.
