Storms leave damage across Alabama

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Alabama and other parts of the southeast took a beating on Monday. Severe weather left damage from Kansas and Oklahoma to Georgia.

Thunderstorms left behind damage in Leesburg in Cherokee County. Strong winds blew the roof off a barn which then slammed into a house. Fortunately, no one was injured.   

In north Alabama, a tree fell and damaged the library at Colbert County High School. Students were just about to be let out of class when it happened. Thankfully, no one was injured there.
