Trussville family seeks public's help for paralyzed son

Two Trussville parents are asking for the public's help after a car accident left their 17-year-old son paralyzed.

Holly and Charles Franklin say it's humbling, even awkward asking for help, but they desperately need it, hoping to bring their son, Jamison, home from the hospital.

Bringing him home will mean not only covering medical bills, but also buying a wheelchair, basically rehabbing their house to accommodate the hospital bed and ventilator, and buying new transportation.
