BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) – An article posted on the99percent.com says that many are now rejecting the once great idea of multi-tasking.
Writer Jocelyn K Glei asked their Twitter followers about their ideas to become more productive in 2011. According to the article, the results were decidedly anti-multi-tasking.
The three overarching themes of the feedback were: getting aggressive with time management, disconnecting during creative/deep-thinking time and choosing between digital and analog.
Many of the tips were ways to keep minds from wandering away from the project at hand and fighting against constantly being plugged in to the web. The other tips took aim at the lack of face time that people have.
As multi-tasking becomes less heralded, it appears that personal interactions will soon become the sought after skill for the future.
