MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - The developer of Country Crossing Casino spent the night in jail on Monday night.
A federal judge revoked Ronnie Gilley's bond during a hearing Monday. The judge says Gilley violated the conditions of his release.
Jarrod Massey, a lobbyist for Country Crossing, testified during the hearing that Gilley offered him a financial incentive "not" to plead guilty.
Gilley is accused, along with 10 others including Massey, of offering bribes to state lawmakers in hopes of getting pro-bingo legislation passed.
