TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - In Tuscaloosa, a forum was held Monday night on the issue of allowing Sunday alcohol sales in the city. It was hosted by the League of Women Voters of Greater Tuscaloosa. Speakers representing those for and against the issue spoke to the crowd.
Voters will decide the issue on Tuesday, February 22nd.
The referendum, if passed, would allow retail establishments that already have liquor licenses to sell alcohol between noon and 9:30 p.m. on Sundays.
