BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - As part of Catholic Schools week, Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School is celebrating education in a variety of ways, including today's pajama day, where students were allowed to spend all day in their jammies.
"I had many students this morning say, it's so much easier to get dressed this morning coming in your pajamas. I think the teachers like it too," said OLS principal Mary Jane Dorn.
The students wrote thank you letters to Homewood city leaders, police officers, fire fighters and businesses in the area that support their school. Tomorrow the students will be allowed to break uniform by wearing any kind of socks they want, and will donate a pair of socks to the needy.
