Here's the recipe from the noon show January 13, 2011.
Chase Lake Cafe Chili and Cheese Casserole
4 whole green chili peppers [about 6 inches long]
1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese
Salt and pepper
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 can diced tomatoes [14 ounce]
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 pint of heavy cream
1/2 pound cheddar cheese
1 can of tomato sauce [8 ounce]
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Slice and seed chili peppers.Oil a casserole dish and line the botom with the sliced chili peppers.Cover with half of the mozzarella,and pinch of salt and pepper.Sprinkle onions and diced tomatoes and then the rest of the mozzarella cheese.Beat eggs and cream and pour over the mixture.Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top of that.Bake for 35 minutes,and enjoy a great casserole.It has so much flavor without being too spicy!!!
