Gov. Riley addresses winter ice storm

MONTGOMERY (WBRC) - Gov. Bob Riley spoke with Fox 6 Monday morning and is begging Alabama residents to stay home and off the roads due to the treacherous weather conditions.

Riley said the state worked around 122 weather-releated traffic accidents Sunday night. ALDOT is working to sand bridges and state troopers and other emergency staffers are working long hours to keep residents safe.
