Road Closures for Monday, Jan. 10

Drivers are warned to take extreme caution as roads are extremely icy and are advised to only drive if absolutely necessary.

From Calhoun County EMA:
All roads in Anniston, Oxford, Jacksonville, Weaver and Piedmont
Bains Gap Rd., Whites Gap Rd., Cottaquilla Rd.

From Mountain Brook Police:
All roads in Mountain Brook are closed until further notice

From ALDOT:
I-20 in          St. Clair County, eastbound between Leeds and Brompton - 3:47 AM, Jan. 10

I-59 in Etowah County, north bound closed at Mile Post 193 - 12:46 AM, Jan. 10

AL 68 in Cherokee County, from U.S. 411 to Cherokee/Dekalb County line. -         11:49 PM, Jan. 9

SR 6 (U S 82) in Tuscaloosa County, Woolsey Finnell Bridge over the Black Warrior River in Tuscaloosa,         Bridge closed due to icing conditions -         8:34 PM, Jan. 9

SR 297 in         Tuscaloosa, from the Jack Warner Parkway to Rice Mine Road -          5:17 PM, Jan. 9

From Tim Walker, Mayor of Boaz:
All roads in Boaz are closed - 10:07 p.m., Jan. 9 

From Homewood Police:
Due to icy conditions on roads, travel is not advised. Homewood Police will only respond to emergency calls. Hwy 31 is closed and the interstate is closed.
