BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - The 34-year-old suspect in the murders of two Hispanic males has been identified as Marcus Benn of Birmingham. Police have obtained two capital murder warrants against Benn. He is a suspect in the murders of Jaimie Jutierrez, 43, and Jose Manuel Caludron, 26, both of Albertville, AL.

Authorities discovered Jutierrez's body Tuesday on 22nd Street and Ishkooda Road. Caludron's body was found at 3 a.m. Wednesday near a drainage ditch on Carver Avenue, also in southwest Birmingham.

Police believe the two murders are connected to a third slaying of 22-year-old Evelyn Peralta, also of Albertville. Investigators are saying the homicides are drug-related.

Benn is being held in the Jefferson County Jail without bond.
