BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Birmingham police want to know why someone would target the home of three elderly women after someone fired shots into their home for the second time in a week.
Imagine not being sure if or when bullets will fly through your home. It is what resident Catherine Nall is dealing with right now. Nall lives in the home with her elderly aunt and sister.
The first shooting happened Sunday night. She says nine bullets hit her house off of Ishkooda Road. Nall says the shooter also kicked in the door and fired one shot directly in the house.
On Wednesday night, someone targeted Nall's home again. She says this it was more of the same, several shots fired into her living room and den.
Police told nall and her daughter that the shooter is targeting the wrong home.
"I don't know if someone told them that someone lives here and they're looking for someone," said Nall's daughter, Anita Hatch Davis.
"They better think twice," said Nall. "They have a family too and you shall reap what you sow."
Police are patrolling the area and have collected evidence from the scene.
