Sweet Bones Rockin' Holiday Egg Nog!
12 eggs separated
1 cup sugar
4 cups gold, dark, or spiced rum
1 quart half and half
1 quart heavy cream
In a chilled bowl beat the egg yolks vigorously with mixer or wire whip until frothy. Add sugar while continuing to mix for 2 minutes, then slowly mix in your favorite rum and continue to mix well.
Next add the half and half and mix thoroughly. Set aside in the refrigerator and beat the heavy cream in another bowl until stiff. In another bowl beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Now fold whipped cream into original mixture and then fold the egg whites into it. Keep refrigerated and enjoy!
