AL farmers getting aid for 2010 growing season

MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - The federal government is helping Alabama's farmers recover from a dry growing season. The USDA says all 67 Alabama counties are eligible for disaster assistance.

Drought conditions and excessive heat damaged crops beginning back in March.

Farmers can apply for assistance from the Farm Service Agency. Applications are due within eight months.
