BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Just a few days after thieves vandalized Birmingham's Christmas tree to steal copper, another piece of Linn Park comes up missing.
The plaque that belongs to a World War I monument stands only feet away from where the tree is located. Thieves have stolen the plaque that lists its dedication.
The plaque is believed to be made of brass.
Birmingham city officials say they now have 24-hour camera surveillance in the park to try to stop these thieves.
