MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - A look at Alabama's unemployment situation shows the rate climbed slightly for the month of November.
Last month, Alabama's unemployment rate climbed to 9%, up just slightly from 8.9% in October. That is lower than the national rate, 9.8%.
Shelby County has the lowest rate with 6.7%. Wilcox reports the highest, 20.7%.
