BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Saving the lives of teens on the highway is the purpose of a new website. The timing of the website is significant to this community. In the past two weeks, FOX6

News has covered half a dozen teenagers dying on area roadways.

On AAA's new website, there's information to help teens become safer drivers.

FOX6 spoke to one teenage driver who says he's changed his driving habits because of the lives lost.

Jerrin Brown is 17-years-old. He said, "(I have a) seat belt on at all times,  pay attention to everyone around you. You got drunk drivers out here. Just pray every time you get in the car, that's what I do."

The site is for young, inexperienced drivers. Experts say they're the most at risk because of driving distractions.

There's also useful information for parents as well.
