LOS ANGELES, AL (WBRC) - Accused murderer Gabe Watson will be returning to Alabama to face charges. On Tuesday, Watson waived his right to extradition.
Watson served 18 months in an Australian jail after pleading guilty to manslaughter. His newlywed wife Tina drowned while scuba-diving on their honeymoon in Australia.
Alabama officials are charging Watson because they believe he planned his wife's death in Jefferson County.
Watson's attorney denies the claims. Watson is due back in Alabama within 30 days.
