BIRMINGHAM,AL (WBRC) - Birmingham Police are investigating a homicide that happened this morning around 11:30am in the 800 block of 77th Way South. Police from Birmingham's East Precinct responded to the report of a person assaulted. Officers discovered the victim had been transported to UAB Hospital by private vehicle suffering from a stab wound. Jerry Davis 52 of Eclectic, Alabama was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the Hospital. A female suspect was taken into custody at UAB. Investigators believe the incident was the result of a domestic altercation.
