Governor Bob Riley to pardon turkey on Tuesday

MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - In Montgomery on Tuesday, Governor Bob Riley is set to uphold an Alabama tradition. The Governor will pardon a turkey named Clyde.

In addition to the symbolic turkey pardon, Governor Riley and the First Lady are also collecting blankets for the less fortunate.

Students from Edgewood Academy in Birmingham and Riverchase Day School in Hoover will bring blankets to the event.
