WESTOVER, AL (WBRC) - New charges have been added for the man accused of causing a crash that killed three family members.
Jessica Fields was driving her van with her sons John and Tony and her daughter Angelia on Highway 280 near Westover on Friday night. State troopers say a car driven by Manley Williams ran a stop sign and hit Fields' van.
Jessica Fields and both of her sons were killed in the crash. Her daughter was flown to Children's Hospital, where she is in serious condition.
Investigators have updated the charges against Manley Williams. He is now facing three counts of murder and one count of assault.
