Trussville home given to injured serviceman

TRUSSVILLE, AL (WBRC) - The group "Homes for our Troops" is handed over the keys to a new home to a Birmingham couple on Thursday. The group builds homes for service members who were injured in the line of duty.

Sergeant 1st Class Scot Noss and his wife, RyAnne, were the recipients of a new home in Trussville. Noss suffered a traumatic brain injury when his helicopter crashed in Afghanistan in February of 2007. The adapted home is expected to provide Scot with a better quality of life.

Homes for Our Troops started their 100 homes campaign this week. They say they hope the next 100 homes will be built in record time.
