Two city officials indicted in Cleveland

CLEVELAND, AL (WBRC) - Two ex-officials from Cleveland are facing indictments in Blount County.   

District Attorney Tommy Roundtree says former Mayor Larry Longshore and former city employee Wayne Owens have been accused by a Blount county grand jury of one count of theft and one count of conspiracy. This involves allegations of taking money from the water board.

Both men have been arrested and bonded out of jail.
