Mike Rogers, Mo Brooks win U.S. House elections

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Mike Rogers and Mo Brooks were declared winners Tuesday in their races for U.S. House from Alabama.

The Associated Press declared Rogers and Brooks would win their elections at about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday.  Rogers was running from re-election against Steve Segrest, while Brooks was running for election against Steve Raby.

Rogers, with 76 percent of the votes counted, had 60 percent of the votes in his election. Brooks, with 64 percent of the votes counted in that election, had 59 percent of the votes.
