ANNISTON, AL (WBRC) – An Anniston woman is free on bond, following charges she stabbed her husband to death.
Angelia Devan Parker, 46, is charged with murder after a Saturday night incident that claimed the life of 44-year-old James Eric Cooley.
Anniston Police Captain Richard Smith tells Fox6 News the woman claimed the two got into an argument over his coming home late. They say the man was stabbed with a large kitchen knife just before midnight Saturday.
Coroner Pat Brown confirms Cooley was pronounced dead at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center at 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
Parker is free on $100,000 bond.
