11 "bribes for bingo" defendants get more freedom

MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - The 11 people indicted in the "bribes for bingo" investigation will get a little more freedom.

A judge ruled Tuesday that State Senator Quinton Ross can be present when his attorneys meet with potential witnesses. He says the decision applies to all defendants.

The defendants will still be required to record any conversations they have with fellow elected officials, candidates and, newly added to that list, lobbyists.
