MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - A judge could rule on Tuesday whether to ease restrictions on a state senator indicted in the Alabama "bribes for bingo" probe.

A judge could rule on Tuesday whether to ease restrictions on a state senator indicted in the Alabama "bribes for bingo" probe.

Attorneys for Democratic Senator Quinton Ross, Jr. of Montgomery say Ross cannot do his public duties because of the restrictions. Ross is prohibited from talking with potential witnesses in the case. He is required to record conversations with elected officials and candidates.

If Ross is successful, attorneys for other defendants plan to make the same request.
