Bernard Tamburello's meatballs

Meatballs La Dolce Vita
5lb Ground chuck
2 med red onion chopped really fine
1/2 cup of fine chopped garlic
1 1/2 cups of basil chopped fine
2 cups D milk
2 cups parm reggiano cheese
2 cups pecorino Romano cheese
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
'3 cups italian seasoned bread crumbs (progresso)
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup granulated garlic
5 whole eggs

Fold all ingredients together, Mix well!! your color should have a light pink to it. roll out onto 2 to 3oz balls> I prefer to fry lightly i n a saute pan to brown the out side and then place in the over at 300 degrees for 10 min. remove and place what i want to eat in the sauce for 30 or so min the rest cool and freeze till the next wonderful meal.
