Robbery arrest made in Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) – The Birmingham Police Department says they have made an arrest in connection to a home invasion.

24-year-old Robert Fortune has been charged with two counts of 1st degree robbery and two charges of terrorist threats. The arrest comes after Birmingham investigators were able to identify Fortune as the suspect of a home invasion that took place in west Birmingham.

Fortune was taken into custody on Thursday by the Birmingham Police Department Crime Reduction Team. He is being held in the Birmingham City Jail.
