BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Birmingham police have blocked streets in West End after a water main break flooded streets and threatens property.
The flooding surrounds roadways around 18th Street Southwest. The break has caused many to be without water service.
Birmingham Water Works' Binnie Myles says crews are on the scene investigating the source of the break.
The break has affected parts of Five Points West, Bush Hills, and Fairfield.
