Anniston jury deciding the fate of convicted murderer

ANNISTON, AL (WBRC) - In Anniston, a jury is deliberating the sentence of a Georgia man convicted of shooting and killing an Oxford store clerk.

The jury will sentence Jesse Scheuing to either the death penalty or life in prison without parole. He was convicted of capital murder for killing Sean Adam Cook in November 2008.

Several people have testified in the sentencing hearing, including a man who says Scheuing stabbed him more than 80 times while in the Calhoun County Jail.
