BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Governor Riley will be in Birmingham on Tuesday, talking about a free health screening program for children.
The program is called KidCheck. It has provided free health screenings to more than 52,000 children in two years.
KidCheck began in 2008 to expand care for children in rural or under-served parts of the state.
The schools that participate in KidCheck block off a day during the school year for the screenings.
